The eight songs in Easter Praise! are catchy and very easy to learn, but the play is slightly more challenging than 'Here comes Jesus', (though easy for KS2). There are 16 speaking parts, which can be read rather than acted if you prefer, and two simple rhythmic chants by the 'crowds', which the children enjoy performing to handclaps.
The songs include It's Jesus!, Show me the money, Remember me, What have I done?, and the title song 'Easter Praise!' which with its hand-jives makes a joyful conclusion to this lovely Easter musical. There are also two short, optional, bible readings and a prayer.
The songs come with lovely backing tracks and can be sung individually, or with readings between, or with the play.
